Aussies are missing one simple step when it comes to being eco-friendly

The ongoing movement to keep Mother Nature front of mind has Aussies making common switches to sustainable living such as recycling, cutting out plastic, composting – the list goes on. But ‘pandemic’ isn’t the only p-word we should have on our radars.

Kitchen appliances and cookware are often an afterthought, as research reveals only one in five (20%) Australians shop to avoid cookware that was made with harmful chemicals. A determining factor is likely our lack of awareness that traditional non-stick cookware is made with PFAS. 

The research was conducted by Pureprofile on a representative sample of 1,011 Australians 18 years and older. The survey was conducted on behalf of The Cookware Company in September 2020.
