Pureprofile introduces Conversational AI for more engaging surveys with richer responses at scale

SYDNEY,  3 July 2025: Global data and insights company Pureprofile Limited (ASX: PPL) has today introduced Conversational AI, powered by inca, a chatbot-based survey format designed to transform respondent engagement and analyse open-ended data at scale.

Securing high levels of respondent engagement and detail through traditional open-ended questions can be a challenge. Whereas face-to-face interviews offer richer insights, researchers are often limited by time, cost, and scalability.

Conversational AI offers a chat-style interface with multilingual capabilities to capture thoughtful, detailed, open-ended responses that can be transformed into clear, actionable insights for smarter, faster decisions at a global scale.

The tool uses advanced Natural Language Processing (NLP), intelligent probing, and digital projective techniques to drive natural conversations and draw out meaningful, in-depth responses, without causing fatigue. Additionally, it makes closed-ended questions more engaging through visual formats, such as custom images and emoticons, supported by advanced logic and routing. Deep-dive tools also help quantify the appeal of different types of concepts and creative content, helping reveal the ‘why’ behind the responses.

AI-driven analysis, such as summarisation of open-ended responses and AI-coding, facilitates faster speed-to-insight and delivers clear findings for confident decision-making. These include data visualisations such as word clouds and sentiment mapping that researchers can access through a real-time, automated dashboard.
