Christmas is an important time for all – as we come together to celebrate with gifts, decorations and feasting. However, as we emerge from the pandemic, we are now facing a new set of challenges with the rising cost of living. On top of this, predictions of a global recession in 2023 are a key concern for consumers across the globe.

We conducted an online survey of 1,000 panellists to better understand how Singaporeans intend to celebrate the upcoming festive season, their reflections on 2022, and their outlook on 2023.
