Research from DWise, Pureprofile & Innovators4Research reveals young people’s decisions on vaccination and travel plans

Amsterdam, NL, 11 January 2022 –  New research reveals that young British people aged between 18-30 years have found the decision to get vaccinated much easier than those in Poland. 66% of young Brits had been vaccinated against Covid compared to just 52% of Poles in the same age group, at the time of the study. Concerns and low confidence over the pandemic response and the effectiveness of measures have impacted decisions on vaccine uptake and travel. The study was conducted by research services agency DWise Consulting, global data and insights company Pureprofile Limited, and Innovators4Research, a team of experienced principals who bring together voice tech-related technologies for clients across different industries and markets.

This study is based on a nationally representative sample of 541 respondents aged between 18 – 30 years and reports on the perceptions of young British and Polish people on vaccines and travel during the pandemic and identifies the key similarities and differences in their attitudes and behaviours. Despite such a wide difference in willingness to be vaccinated, 27% of young people in both countries still intended to travel abroad.

The research made use of Phebi’s award-winning AI voice technology to connect with the young audience and analyse their verbal responses, therefore uncovering a wide range of emotions. The new technology has provided richer insights that wouldn’t have been accessible through traditional online research techniques.
