Could convenience stores be World Cup winners?

According to a survey by Pureprofile, 58% of Brits are watching the World Cup at home with the top items purchased being snacks (28%), alcohol (25%) and soft drinks (25%).

Pizza (20%) is a more popular food choice over party food (15%) and meal deals (9%).

41% of Brits said they will go to a supermarket for their alcohol and snacks compared to their local convenience store 4%. However, 14% would pop to their local convenience store if they ran out of food & drink in the middle of a match.

7% would buy through a food delivery app such as Deliveroo, Uber Eats etc, and less (4%) would order through a rapid grocery delivery app such as Getir and Gorillas.
