Don’t let a mishap ruin your holidays

The Olympics are about to kick off in France, travel is back on the agenda for many Australians, things are looking up (and so are the passport fees, the departure fees but that’s a whole different conversation). What else can sting you? Damaged, lost and stolen phones.

In a survey conducted by Vodafone in partnership with Pureprofile of over 1000 Australians, 23.3% of Australians who have travelled internationally in the last five years and had their phone lost, damaged or stolen, paid up to $500 to repair or replace their device. As many as 22.4% reported paying up to $250 and 21.2% forked out up to a staggering $1,000.
