Almost half of luxury hotel execs ‘very concerned’ about staff retention

A new global study has revealed that almost half of senior executives at high-end, luxury hotels are ‘very concerned’ about staff retention and hiring new talent.

According to research commissioned by communication technology company Communications Specialist Ltd, 46% of senior executives were ‘very concerned’ about the issue of retainment and recruitment.

A further 44% said they were ‘quite concerned’ by staffing pressures, while just 10% said they were not concerned at all.

Communications Specialist Ltd commissioned the independent research agency Pureprofile to interview 50 senior executives at luxury, high-end hotel chains with annual revenue of $4 billion based in Asia, Africa, Europe, the US and South America.
