Financial Review: Public ‘shaken, most anxious’ over tech innovation

Public angst over technology and data-led corporate innovation and transformation programs has hit an all-time high as another high-profile privacy breach of 50 million Facebook users hit world headlines last week.
As the Australian Information and Privacy Commission confirmed it was informally investigating the Facebook hacking breach, a study across eight countries in the annual Brands in Motion report by US-based firm WE Communications, says Australians “have been shaken” by a slew of ongoing technology scandals and are now “some of the most anxious consumers in the world about the promise of unprecedented innovation”
