Flush your Ex: Heartbroken Aussies invited to turn cards from ex into toilet paper this Valentine’s Day

There’s no doubt that break-ups can be crappy.

But instead of wallowing in your sorrows this Valentine’s Day, why not just flush the past away — literally!

After commissioning a study, eco-friendly toilet paper brand Who Gives A Crap uncovered the heartbreak habits of Australians, and, they’re not great, with many sad souls (up to 75 per cent of Aussies) holding on to relationship mementos for far too long.

The study, conducted by Pureprofile from December 2023 to January 2024, of a sample of 5,009 Australians, aged 18 years and up, found giving the flick to an ex-sweetheart’s belongings was considered among the top five ways to get through a breakup.
