Healthcare is the most popular sector among UK Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) professionals, with 94% stating they would increase investments in the industry, a survey by Alpha Real Capital showed.
The survey found healthcare to be the top choice for fund professionals in terms of social infrastructure allocation (74%), followed by housing (58%) and education (51%).
Alpha Real Capital commissioned the market research company Pureprofile to survey 100 LGPS fund professionals. Interviews were conducted online in January 2023.
