The true-blue experience of acute pain has been revealed following the release of the ‘Australian Acute Pain Survey’ – Australia’s largest study on acute pain – which highlights playing sport (46.5%), running (25.5%), or in the bedroom (17.9%) are some of the most common settings where Aussies get injured.[1]

The findings follow the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA)’s approval of CELEBREX RELIEF (celecoxib 200 mg) as a Schedule 3 pharmacist-only medicine, making it the first and currently only treatment of its kind (a COX-2 selective non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medication) available without a prescription in Australia for short-term relief from acute pain caused by muscle and joint injuries or period pain in adults.[2]

Australians suffering from muscle and joint injuries or period pain can now access short-term acute pain relief by asking their pharmacist for CELEBREX RELIEF, bypassing GP wait times and costs.
