Three in five Australians use their tablets daily

Australians are using their tablets more than ever, with 40% suggesting that tablets have the potential to replace laptops, according to new research conducted by Pureprofile on behalf of Samsung Electronics Australia.

Three in five (60%) Australians surveyed use their tablets daily, especially in the evening for leisure and relaxation to browse the web (70%), watch videos (62%) and read content like recipes, ebooks and news (57%).

The number one reason Australians reach for their tablets is due to the larger screen size compared to their smartphones (75%).
