The Business Conversation: Small business owners prioritise energy costs, tax cuts and climate change ahead of Australian election

According to a national survey on the upcoming federal election, three in four small business owners (75 per cent) are unable to name the Federal Small Business Minister, and 15 per cent are unable to name the Prime Minister. The survey also found one in five (20 per cent) small business owners don’t know who the Opposition Leader is.
250 small businesses owners were surveyed across Australia in April 2019, in a survey commissioned by global small business platform Xero and conducted by Pureprofile.
