AUSTRALIA – Global data and insights company Pureprofile has released a synthetic data tool to help complete response quotas for surveys.

The tool, called Synthetic Responses, combines machine learning with real survey responses and panellist profile data to generate synthetic responses.

Synthetic Responses, which is supported by Livepanel, is designed as a top-up to data from traditional panels to meet response quotas, along with real survey responses and de-identified profile data, and analyses this dataset via a training and prediction process.

Pureprofile said that its machine learning models are tailored for each training dataset to reflect real panellist responses and ensure fresh responses.

Niamh Fitzpatrick, chief product officer at Pureprofile, said: “Synthetic Responses offers a reliable solution that efficiently fills respondent quota gaps, ensuring comprehensive, representative data collection without compromising quality or exceeding budgets.”
