How we’re dreaming of a bright Christmas in the UK

Pureprofile UK Christmas Report 2021 Banner

After almost a year and a half of extended lockdowns, Brits are looking to the 2021 festive season with a renewed sense of hope. With the re-opening of the hospitality sector and easing of international travel restrictions over recent months, families are looking forward to coming together and celebrating a Christmas reminiscent of pre-pandemic times.

Throughout 2021 we’ve seen major changes in our work environments, social habits and day-to-day life as we adapt to the new norm. This has once again impacted the way we’ve been spending our time and money in the lead up to the festive season. Not only that, our perceptions, attitudes and beliefs have been challenged too.

To understand the ways in which we will approach the festive season, and the impact of the last 12 months on our plans, we surveyed 1,008 members from our UK panel, analysing the data against the insights generated from our 2020 Christmas report.
