Australia-headquartered data and insights company Pureprofile has boosted its UK business with the appointment of former Kantar man James de Vick as Account Director.

Pureprofile provides online research solutions to corporate and agency clients, building in-depth profiles of consumers via proprietary and partner panels. Three months ago the firm reported revenue up 15% to $AUD 16.1m for the first quarter of its FY2026, and said that for the first time its ‘Rest of World’ (ROW) revenue overtook its income from its original core markets of Australia and New Zealand, driven by demand in the UK.

de Vick joins with more than twenty years of MR and insights experience, at Lightspeed from 2006 to 2011, then at GMI following Kantar’s acquisition of Lightspeed, and subsequently for the parent company. In his most recent position there, as Head of Client for EMEA, he oversaw a number of major global accounts and played a key role in designing and leading the region’s sales strategy. Earlier he worked in senior commercial positions including VP of Business Development in the UK, and Global Account Director.

Tim Potter, who is MD for Pureprofile’s UK/EU & US business, says of the hire: ‘Continuing to invest in our UK team is central to our growth strategy. James brings a combination of long-standing industry experience, strategic thinking and client leadership. His drive and expertise will help ensure we continue to innovate, excel and deliver outstanding outcomes for our clients as the UK business continues to grow.’

The firm, which was founded in 2000 and is based in Surry Hills, NSW, Australia, is on the web at www.pureprofile.com
