It has been a tough time for everyone in the last 18 months, however, our children are experiencing a plethora of different challenges since the lockdown, and as some states emerge and return to normality, this mounts. Independent research from Amazon Prime Video revealed almost eight out of 10 Australians feel the pandemic has challenged their relationships with friends and family.
Given the notable mental health and relational effects on adults, it is no surprise that this is affecting children too, in a whole host of ways. Returning from remote learning back to school is going to be a challenge and re-establishing relationships with their friends may not come naturally for all our children.
The research was conducted by Pureprofile on behalf of Amazon Prime Video on a sample size of 1500 Australians between 1 September and 6 September 2021.
