Earlier this year, at the height of the bushfire crisis, Pureprofile conducted a survey for the NSW Business Chamber that uncovered valuable insights about the effect of the bushfires on tourism. The results revealed that two thirds of respondents had either cancelled or were thinking about cancelling upcoming travel as a result of the bushfires. On a more positive note, 85% of those surveyed said that the primary factor in deciding to take a holiday in NSW in the near future is knowing that their holiday will support jobs in recovering communities.
